The site will initially bring a long-term vacant building back into productive use for a temporary period and provide a home for one of the city’s newest independent hospitality businesses. The proposed use will help to realise the ambitions for Digbeth in creating a vibrant mixed use area that retains its authentic and gritty feel and establishes this part of Digbeth as appropriate for cultural and leisure activity, rather than it being concentrated closer to the city core.

The Site is highly accessible by sustainable travel choices and positions well for future development. The current proposals for Glover St have taken account of existing and potential future occupiers of the local area, with a view moving towards a permanent development strategy from Q1 2023.
